What services does MyMental offer?
We offer counselling, student counselling, nutritional and physical health support, sports massage, strength & conditioning coaching, and an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for organisations. placements for students coming soon!
Where are your sessions held?
Most of our services are delivered online for accessibility and flexibility. Some services (such as sports massage, personal training, or in-person counselling) can be arranged on request.
Is there a waiting time for the therapeutic services?
Yes, we do have a waiting time. Depending on the service you’re looking for, the wait can range from 2 to 6 weeks. This helps us make sure you’re matched with the right practitioner and that each client receives the time, care, and attention they deserve.
Are your services confidential?
Yes, everything shared with us is completely confidential. For organisational services, only anonymised summaries are shared with managers.
Do you offer discounts or low-cost options?
Yes. We offer low-cost counselling, bundle discounts, and student-friendly pricing across selected services.
Why do you guys have a patreon?
We created our Patreon as a gentle, affordable space for people who want regular wellbeing content outside of formal sessions. While we’re still building and shaping the page, our goal is to offer reflective tools, mini workbooks, and audio content that can support you week by week.
It’s a space that will grow with us — and with the people who join it.
COUNSELLING ENQUIRIES
How does counselling at MyMental work?
You can book a one-off session or ongoing therapy. After your first session, your counsellor will help you decide what’s right for you.
How many sessions will I need?
It’s different for everyone, some people need a few sessions, others prefer longer-term support. You can decide as you go.
Is low-cost counselling the same as regular counselling?
Yes, but it’s provided by trainee counsellors on placement under professional supervision.
PHYSICAL HEALTH ENQUIRIES
Do I need experience to start personal training or S&C?
No, we work with all levels, all are welcome.
How do bundles work?
Bundles are prepaid packages of sessions (e.g., massage, PT, nutrition). They offer discounted rates and can be used anytime within a set timeframe. payment plans are accepted for all.
Can I mix personal training with nutrition coaching?
Yes, we can design combined plans tailored to your goals.
Do I need equipment for online training?
No. We can create bodyweight-only plans or incorporate whatever equipment you have.
STUDENTS & TRAINING PLACEMENTS
Do you offer counselling placements?
Yes, we welcome Level 4+ trainee counsellors. You can enquire through our contact form. Placements will start April 2026.
Do you offer work experience for students?
Yes, we provide structured work experience for students interested in mental health, creative content, and research.
ORGANISATIONAL & EAP ENQUIRIES
What is the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)?
A confidential wellbeing support service for workplaces, including triage, counselling bundles, and flexible hour options.
How does pricing work for organisations?
There are three parts: core monthly fee per employee, discounted counselling bundles, and optional extended-hour add-ons.
We tailor quotes based on your team size and needs.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes, we support teams of all sizes, including small businesses with under 25 staff.
Can organisations book workshops?
Yes, we offer mental health workshops, wellbeing days, and tailored programmes on request.

How do I book a session?

How do payments work?
Payments are made securely online. Packages and bundles must be paid upfront.
