How many counselling sessions are included?
Employers choose how many sessions to include by selecting a prepaid bundle. Extra sessions can be added anytime.
Can we upgrade mid-year?
Yes. You can add staff, extend hours (Tier 2 or Nights/Sundays), or increase your counselling session bundle whenever needed.
Is the service really confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is at the heart of what we do, your employeesβ privacy always comes first.
Do you cover shift workers?
Yes. Tier 2 and the Nights & Sundays Add-On are designed for shift-based teams, so support is available at any time.
What size of business is this suitable for?
Our EAP is designed for small to medium-sized organisations. For businesses with over 80 employees, we complete a short screening and onboarding review to ensure the service matches your teamβs size, needs, and scheduling.
What if our staff donβt use the service?
Unused sessions or access time donβt roll over into the next year, as each annual package is budgeted to ensure consistent availability and staffing. Employers are welcome to review usage with us before renewing, so we can adjust your plan for the following year.
Do staff contact you directly, or does HR manage it?
Staff contact MyMental directly to maintain full confidentiality. Your HR or management team will only receive anonymised usage summaries (for example, number of sessions used or general wellbeing themes). If required, weβll coordinate with your HR lead privately and professionally.
How does annual renewal work?
Each EAP contract runs for 12 months from the start date. Before renewal, weβll review usage, attendance, and feedback with you. This helps determine whether to increase, reduce, or keep your current plan for the next year. Bundles refresh annually, and unused sessions do not carry over. Renewal invoices are sent ahead of the new term, and adjustments can be made at that time.
